Thai Tea is made from Ceylon Black Tea, milk, sugar and spices. Usually cardamom and star anise. It is impressively refreshing. Nearly on par with classic iced black tea. Simply nothing goes better with a hot pad thai and green curry. With the rise of boba tea stands, it has seen a surge in popularity. I really recommend it if you haven’t tried it. All of the above were procured at Jungle Jim’s, but they can be found in a lot of specialty stores.
I had no horse going into this, but I did recognize Tisanes as the brand most commonly seen in Thai restaurants. They were all honestly pretty good, but in the warm and muggy months of the upcoming summer, I will be looking to pick up a pack of Foco.
